#SpaceNews: Peake, Kopra and Malenchenko journey to International Space Station

On Tuesday, Tim Peake, the “first official UK astronaut“, tweeted before liftoff from Kazakhstan, on board Russian Soyuz rocket together with two other colleagues, NASA astronaut Tim Kopra and Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko, to mark the beginning of the six months mission to the International Space Station. The mission was named Principia after the suggestions made by more than 20 people in relation to Sir Isaac Newton’s “laws of motion and gravity.”
